Everything about the LLM-credit launchpad on Solana — what works today, and how the rest will work.
Getting started
Introduction
Unspent is a launchpad on Solana for tokenizing eligible LLM credits into onchain assets.
Every API account has a line like "credits_left": 1729.43. That balance is prepaid, stuck on one account, and some of it expires. Unspent turns eligible credits into a token on Solana — spend it through one API, or sell what you don't use.
Getting started
Quickstart
From zero to a prepared launch in four steps.
- Install a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack).
- Click Connect Wallet in the top bar and approve.
- Open Launch, fill in name, ticker, description, image and links. Save it as a draft.
- When verification goes live, connect your credit source, verify, and sign the launch transaction.
Concepts
What are LLM credits
Prepaid balances held with an AI provider and consumed per request.
Credits are a provider-side entitlement. They're usually tied to one account, can't be moved, and may expire. Providers' terms decide whether credits can be transferred or represented elsewhere — Unspent never assumes they can.
| Property | Typical LLM credit | Unspent asset |
|---|---|---|
| Where it lives | Provider account | Solana |
| Transferable | Usually no | Yes (SPL token) |
| Visible to others | No | Yes, onchain |
| Backing | — | Verified credits, where supported |
Concepts
Spend lifecycle
What one request does to your credits.
A request reserves its worst-case cost onchain, the model runs, only the real cost is burned, and the remainder goes back to your balance. You never pay more than the hold.
reserve 1.5000 # worst case, held onchain run model burn 0.0713 # the real cost return 1.4287 # back to your balance
Concepts
Tokenization
How verified credit value becomes an SPL token.
- Connect a supported credit source through an authorized integration.
- Verify ownership, balance, and transferability under the provider's terms.
- Tokenize — only credits that pass every check can back an asset.
- Launch — the SPL token is created on Solana with its backing record attached.
Launchpad
Launching an asset
The fields, the checks, and the transaction.
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Name | Up to 32 characters |
| Ticker | A–Z and 0–9, up to 10 |
| Description | Up to 280 characters |
| Image | PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, max 2 MB |
| Website / X / Telegram | Optional; must be valid links |
Before signing, the review screen checks: wallet connected, network reachable, details valid, credits verified, launch program available. Launching stays blocked until all pass.
Launchpad
Credit verification
The defining feature of Unspent.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not Connected | No credit source linked |
| Verification Pending | Checks are running |
| Verified | Only after a real verification succeeds |
| Ineligible | Credits can't back an asset (terms, expiry) |
| Verification Failed | Ownership or balance not confirmed |
Verification relies on authorized integrations — never on passwords or raw API keys entered in a form.
Launchpad
Supported providers
Which AI providers' credits can be used.
{ "providers": [], "status": "none_supported_yet" }No provider is supported yet. Unspent doesn't claim partnerships or endorsements from any provider.
Launchpad
Backing & redemption
What an asset represents, and what it doesn't.
An asset represents verified credit value only where a verification record exists. Redemption rules haven't been published. Until they are, no redemption rights are implied by any token.
